AJLynn Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Easy brute force method: Make your building have a mesh that corresponds to the windows (how to do this depends on how you made it) and make sure it's editable (so you can select polys). Make poly selections for the different glass types and save selection, then assign different glasses. The selection randomizer they use in this tutorial: http://forum.3dfluff.com/showthread.php?t=82 may come in handy. Slightly trickier method with materials: Get the "Skyscraper Windows" materials here: http://forum.3dfluff.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7 and look through how they work and then make your own.
