ZFact
Hi; after spending 3 weeks rendering out a 4 minute animation my clients only request is that the water be made slightly blue'er. Can i do this in post using AE or do i need to re-render the lot. Thank Paul
JamesTaylor
you'll be able to do it in AE if you can isolate the water. create a second composition / layer, isolate the water and correct the colour as required using an appropriate effect then just layer it over the original version. if you can't isolate the water you may be able to get a way with only rendered the water geometry inorder to create a mask that can be used in AE. just think about it as you would in photoshop etc.
Brian Cassil
Yeah, just render a mask for the water and adjust the hue/saturation in AE. On a side note I hate it when clients ask for the water to be bluer. It's totally unnatural. I've even seen real real water where the client added blue dye to the water. Insane.
