Walkthrough Mode - Speed Adjustment

I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the speed of my Walkthrough Cam and as far as I knew, it was adjusted using the "[" and "]" keys. I'm using MAX 9 with the first extension and I can't for the life of me get the braket keys to adjust the navigation speed like it did in version 8. All it does now is increment the camera forward or backwards as you hit them, but doesn't actually change the cruise speed of your walkthroguh cam... which is a snails pace by default.

 

Does anyone know of another way to adjust this setting? Thanks - Pixel

same problem here, i think it was PgUP and PgDN as well, but not anymore

there is walkthrough.ini file in c:\Documents and Settings\ACCOUNT NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\9 - 32bit\enu\plugcfg\ with settings,

so you can play with that

Thanks for the workaround. Now to figure out what kind of values to use for Stepsize and Sensativity.

 

So would anyone else here agree that this is a broken feature and should be reported to Autodesk?

what ini file is it in the plugcfg folder??

Well, the .ini file edit isn't working for me. The system want's to restore the .ini file to it's original condition everytime I open MAX so that changes I make never occure.

Just press button "keyboard shortcut override toggle". Its near the "snaps"
