Material Editor problem

Hey everyone, I got problem with material editor when using vray as my default render engine...Everytime I start max and open material editor i see Black mental ray's slots... but default render is vray...how can I fix this ? its a bit annoying ;)

Basically you are using the Mental Ray shaders here, instead of the Vray shaders. So as the two arent compatible, the Vray renderer is not capable of showing the MR materials in the slots. What you want to do, is use the Vraymaterial from the material editor, and not Mental Rays Arch and Design shaders,
