I just put one up to help your effort as I think the sharing portal is a brilliant idea, but i will probably be careful not to exceed 9 submissions before July 1st as I have already been paid for my time to develop my plants.

Seems like your incentive program should help to pick up the pace!

when you say make $$$ you mean $2?

lol

what's so funny? i could upload 20 in about 40 mins. $40 for 40 minutes of work plus a free book, plus help the community. doesn't seem like a bad offer to me. i don't get it...it's good money and a lot for some people. if it's not a lot for you then why not do it just to help the community?

Nothing, :)

you used three dollar signs!!! I was expecting to see a higher number... that's all :D

But then again, I don't really know how Onyx3D works... does it make the model/vegetation for you?

When I read the words make your own vegetation, I'm picturing:

-Taking reference photos for textures

-Creating the textures

-creating the model

-Creating the materials

-Testing the model/textures

Not just uploading stuff.... but as I said before, I'm not familiar with Onyx3D and I didn't realize it was for a free community ( I though those models were gonna be sold to the public after)

Continue with the good work! :p

Onyx is a modeling program that let's you start with a template and create pretty much any type vegetation you can dream up...real or imaginary. Applying materials can take some time but if you do it right and already have some made for a few others, you can borrow the materials and kick out a bunch of new vegetations with materials in no time at all.
