illiopic
I need to update 30 machines with 30+ ip addresses for DR. Is there an external file that Vray reads from that I could update, as opposed to going into the System rollout and entering each IP manually? illiopic
Yes, it did work. Simply followed the pattern within the file (ip + boolean) for each ip. Then copied the config file to each machine on the network. ..\plugcfg\vray_dr.cfg
Koper
would it be possible to configure Rt so that it shows the computer name instead of the IP, and to see which IP's are active for use? That is one of the things I miss. You'll notice that when you look at the assigned IP adresses in RT that there are a couple of columns for this information already. maybe its just turned of somewhere in configuration. I'll see tmrw in the office. Thanx for sharing
Dave Buchhofer
No there isn't unfortunately, it seems a very obvious and useful addition, but they never implemented it :| (And vlado said he would address the RT list not working with machine names in his next update probably.)
