Is there a hot key that moves the selection up or down in the modifier stack? For instance an editable poly under a turbo smooth under a unwrap uvw. Is ther a hotkey that would allow one to move the selection between the different modifiers?

 

I hope I'm being clear enough to understand here. I looked at the online hotkey map but didn't see anything. I have a vague memory of this being available but can't recall where I saw it.

Go into customize keyboard controls and there are two commands that you are interested in: Previous Modifier & Next Modifier

 

Assign any shortcut key you like and you should be good to go.
