3dorbit and UCS problem

Are there any lisp or arx routines out there that keep the world z-axis vertically on the screen when the current ucs is something other than in the world position?

I know the 'orbit maintain z' option, but this doesnt work if the ucs is set vertically or some other position.

If you've used rhino, you know what I'm asking for. orbiting should be able to maintain vertical lines without twisting no matter where the construction plane is.
