I`d like to export 3ds scene to acad and after to do the section views and elevations, but i have problem becasuse in acad all the objects are POLYMASHES which are not working with SOLPROF(which needs 3Dsolids)...my final aim is to have 2ds (sections, elevations) can anybody give mi a hint? Joelp Posted December 9, 2009 Share Posted December 9, 2009 You can generate the section line in Max using the Section tool (Create Panel \ Splines \ Section). Create the shape and then export it to AutoCAD. For the Elevations use the plot to DXB method in AutoCAD. Thablanch Posted December 10, 2009 Share Posted December 10, 2009 Final Toon produces vectorial output of a rendering. Not to scale, but just a matter of ajusting the lines in Acad after. If you render in perspectives, it produces a Vector line drawing, and in your case, a plan or elevation line drawing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
