Squiggle or Jitter or Hand Drawn look in ACAD

Anyone know a way to make autocad give a hand drawn look to my drawings? In Ernest Burden III's interview on CGArchitect, he said that most cad programs had the ability to give drawings that hand-drawn look. Anyone know how to make AutoCAD 2000 do it?

In Autocad, there is a linetype called 'squiggle', or 'wiggle' or similar, combined with an overshoot will do a basic job. I have used a similar method in Datacad.

 

But these days I'm more likely to use Photoshop to produce a hand-drawn effect.

never heard of this one. closest function i can remember is a command called SKETCH.

 

try d/l SKETCHUP, a wonderfully east sketchy feel cad package. we use it in work and because it's that easy and effective to use even all the 2d technicians use it.

 

i'll do a write up on it as soon as my current work load lightens

and search for freehand.. its a lisp tourine that does some nice hand-drawn look... just play with it..
