STRAT Posted September 20, 2002 Share Posted September 20, 2002 i'd like to see something along the same idea as the 3DluVr contests - an architectural theme is thought up and we use our imaginations to do a scene in the topic provided. something simple like titles like staircase, or swimming pool, or garden or kitchen or something along these lines. STRAT Posted September 20, 2002 Author Share Posted September 20, 2002 i dont think so. if ppl want to post up the wip's for crit thats great. personally i'd prefer not to. but for final voting? - well Jeff makes a special voting post with all the thumb nails of the images posted up and ppl choose their top 3 favs. The thumb nails will be numbered only, not named, so they're annonomous so ppl dont know who they're voting for. then the results and artists are named at the prize giving. also, perhaps Jeff could send out (individual from the news letter) and e-mail inviting members to vote. that way silent members or infrequest visitors will be made aware of the voting stage. STRAT Posted September 21, 2002 Author Share Posted September 21, 2002 Delfoz - unfortunately you are correct, not many ppl have time to do anything, me included. but thats the same with any challenge idea thought up. it's always the case of if the title takes ur fancy and you have the time, well compete. As i say, i generally have no time what so ever, but with something like this it may be nice. especially in the situation where i might be able to canablise bits out of past jobs i've done to save me time. Even if Jeff starts running this monthly event and not many ppl participate perhaps it would still be nice to keep it running in any event for the ppl that do, in it's own sub-forum maybe. prizes or no. wadda think?
