Revit, BIM and SketchUp

Hello Everyone

If you use SketchUp as BIM you can easily make 3D model out of 2D drawings which are in PDF or DWG formats for a better visualization.

In your design you can apply both Revit-BIM and SketchUP for design study & design creation. The people using Sketch up and Revit need to be good communicators.

Comments are most welcome...

I hate to burst your bubble there, Manoj but BIM was NOT developed for Sketchup. BIM has been around longer than Sketchup has. It wasn't until the 2009 version of Revit (I believe) that sketchup files were able to be imported into Revit. Furthermore, as CHG says, Sketchup is not BIM.

That being said, you can import the Sketchup files into Revit and assign families to the faces.
