Hi STRAT,

U can't extract person's ip address by one's email. U can do it with scripts on website, CG forum for instance. When u have one's ip header u have got him. But remember there are several techinques hidening one's ip: spoofing, faked ip, virtual ip, etc. There r some free tools running on Linux, if u r interested in. U can find an exaple here: http://www.infojama.pl/article.php?sid=1709 under "Adres sieci" (in comments section) u have one's ip.

Hi STRAT (once again) ;)

U can use some MS-DOS commands under Windows:

nbtstat, nslookup, tracert, etc. look at the Windows manual. Here is free whois: http://www.jooz.com/whois-scanner.shtml If u want more help, please specify who do u want to "catch", in local or remote network, from website (PHP scripts), do u know Linux, do u want to pay for specialized programs. etc. or do u prefer free tools.
