Vincent Hunter, AIA Posted November 26, 2002 Share Posted November 26, 2002 Hi all, I am two clicks away from ordering Brazil because I'm just tired of waiting for FinalRENDER Stage 1. Should I just wait a few weeks since it should ship in mid December or just order Brazil? I'm kind a worried it won't live up to my expectations. Any thoughts? plastic Posted November 26, 2002 Share Posted November 26, 2002 after trying brazil 1.0 for a month i have to say that i'm going to stick with the max5 radiosity. i can't afford the very long rendertimes OR the massive tweaking required to get short rendertimes (with photon mapping, etc). it reminds me a bit of mental ray. i can't really recommend it for professional architectual work. this is not brazils fault, but the way architects work. (at least here in europe...corrections one day or a few hours before the deadline) if you don't have this problem and enough time for rendering, go for it! brazil has the potential to produce the most beautiful pictures of all renderers.
