Shakahassan
Hi guys, first time posting so I´ll try to keep it short... I've already searched the forums and didn't find a similar problem (forgive me if I didn't see it and am posting again) Here´s de deal, in my assignement, I have to simply move the camera through the production line of a factory. So I selected the walls and everything I didn't need in the scene beside the machinery, to better animate the camera... But now that I'm done, when i try to unhide the hidden stuff through the "UNHIDE ALL" command, Max crashes!!! And I can't find a reason why. Any ideas? I'm using 3ds Max 9, by the way. Thanks in advance!!
Tom Hamelrijckx
Maybe some issue with a 'heavy' hidden object? Try unhiding the hidden objects one by one, or group by group, to isolate a possible problem object...
Shakahassan
Thanks for the tip, Mazinger! Will do!
mxdsa
Are you in wireframe or shaded mode when you unhide? That could make a difference. Try turning off transparency in viewport. If it's a heavy scene there could be any number of things that could overload or bug out your graphics card. Definitely try Mazinger's suggestion. Shakahassan
Yes, indeed I have a big scene. And I was working on wireframe when unhiding... Mazinger´s sugestion worked out great! Working with isolated selections proved to be very eficient! Thanks a lot guys!
