nelpiper
I don´t really understand what your problem is but Vray is a physically based rendering engine. So, you should only use photometric lights. In the case of Vray, you should only use Vray lights. Therefore, you should use vraysun and vraysky for you exterior scene. Hope it helps. Good luck. mrath04
hi friends thanks to both nelpiper & maxer i was already used vraysun but my white materials are in yellowish color i dont know how to rectify it plz help thanks
heni30
You are getting color bleeding from adjacent objects. For the colored object, click on the material type slot (to the right of the material name) and choose VrayOverideMtl - Keep the old material as a sub-object. Four slots will appear - the first is your base material (colored objects) the next is GI material. Click on GI Material and choose Vray material from the list. Make the color of this material white. This should solve the color bleeding problem.

heni30
It could be that your sun is too low - early am or late pm light will be colored like it is in real life.

heni30
you could always just use a plain vray light. the advantage of the vray sun is that it does give you accurate coloring of the time of day and there is a setting that allows you to control the hardness or softness of the shadows. Alyosha
I'm positive it's white balance issue as well, try using NEUTRAL white balance value in physical camera settings, if that doesnt work, go for D50, if it still turns too yellowish check the vray sun and set TURBIDITY value to 2, also know that if the sun is low on the horizon (i.e. sunset position) it will inevitably color the whole thing pretty yellowish

jc3dm
Ok, this is my recomendation for exterior renders: Ligthing: -Use Vray sun whit vraysky. I recommended that the color of the sky match the ambient color of scene, or vraysky color -Use global ilumination (GI) to iluminates deeps walls. Usualy i use 1.0 for the first rebound and .85 for 2 rebound -Vray Physical Camera also control ilumintation. Check the values for Fnumber, Speed and ISO. -Color maping: this setting also influence the ilumination of the scene. I recomend Rainhard or Exponencial. Material: -If you use vray, use vray materials for best results. -Each material has a different composition. Regulary i use the fallowing: Grass: vray material whit vray displacement Glass: vray mat. whit reflect. For the glass is important check the normals of the glass surface. if you use glossy effect i recommend .6 to .85 values Walls: vraymat whit color. You can add bump, or displacemet for textures walls I hope these recommendations will be helpful.
