oo7wazzy
Hi All I am wanting to render a reflection in a mirror by putting a plane with a image assigned to it in-front of my mirror, but i dont want to see the plane in the final render. I had a tut that explained it but it got lost in cyber space... Can anyone help me with this problem or suggest another way of getting the same outcome. Thanks Warren
maciejwypych
Hi, It would be easier to render the reflection layer and add the image in the post production. Specially that it sound it will be a flat image anyway. Maciej
1d2d3d4d
I would use an opacity map for the object(s) in front of the mirror and reduce the overall transparancy to something less than
Logitek
Hi Warren, you simply right click on your object - properties. Then you untick "visible to camera" but you leave "visible to reflections and refractions" ticked... You can also untick "cast and receive shadows" as I'm sure you don't want your plane to cast shadows... That's all. Enjoy :-)
