anaok Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Hi all I know how to create a cornice from shapes (2d) and rectangle by loft modifier I need to know How to create cornices from 3d object (it has protrusions or holes) depending on any perimeter line of room like this picture any ideas? tommyjj Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 As said above, you'll need to use a displacement map and use a Sweep modifier on a spline drawn around the top of your room. However you might have very slow render times with a disp map. I'd model a small piece of it completely (with all surface features), then just copy that piece over and over.
