nisoneji Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 I have xeon Processor machine it has total 8 bucket's kept has render server and other machine render client which is dual core, total thread available will be 10 bucket I want to restrict client machine to total number of thread to 4 -6 bucket. i have tried this script "renderers.current.system_numThreads=4" on client machine but still renders with 10bucket, please how can i restrict number of tread to use i'm not using back burner. nisoneji Posted November 25, 2011 Author Share Posted November 25, 2011 Thanks for reply , i tried to set the affiliate the 3ds max.exe to 0,1 tick rest 23456 unchecked but still on the client render shows my xeon 8 core + its dual core total 10 bucket because, i m working on xeon pc and it get stuck-lag/slow.
