xEndlessxUrbiax
Does anyone know if there is a way to render two regions at once? I'm trying to re-render two spots in my rendering without having to re-render the space between them or doing two different renders. Thanks
neil poppleton
If you are using VRAY you could set the render to follow your mouse and that could be one solution..
xEndlessxUrbiax
Thanks for the solution. Unfortunately I am using iRay.
datacrasher
I don't know anything about Iray What i useally use the ram player I load the First image into channel A then load the second image into channel B then you can compare them. max is not really a compositor you really need something like autodesk combustion for example
datacrasher
oh render you're first image then in the render you can then use the 2 white figures second from the save disk icon (clone) this will clone the image then you can compare them
squeakybadger
stick a black plane with 2 holes cut out for your regions in front of the camera
Umesh Raut
stick a black plane with 2 holes cut out for your regions in front of the camera This, thus far, is the most ingenious solution to the problem posted. Because there's no other way to render two different regions at one go.
datacrasher
Umesh of course there is it's called ram player. As i said about If you go to the rendering tab in the drop down menu click the ram player. then load an image into channel A and one into channel B then the ram player will give you a slip screen of your 2 images. you can also load up an AVI

I must say, Im super impressed about the black screen with holes cut out.

The question is rendering two regions in one attempt; once you have rendered images, you can do n number of things, with any piece of software, leave alone ram player. I hope this time its clearer. datacrasher
I don't need to leave the ram player alone because i know how to use it use the region zoom Viewport navigation controls you see the FOV tool click and hold button down and you'll get the region zoom button now zoom in on the region you want to render. Use the render button then save out (disk) give it a name save it as a jpeg or tiff image load your first image into channel A Then select a different region you want to render save it then load the second render into channel B. once you have loaded it into the ram-player. you can use the A under-score B you can switch them to the render to an up & down position on the side of the render you have 2 arrows you can move them to show which ever image you want. If you unselect the A under_score B then the image will be displayed side by side Edited March 8, 2012 by datacrasher
Umesh Raut
Are you rendering those two regions in one attempt here? I doubt. I honestly think you got the question wrong, my humble observation.
Arkitec
clear your rendered view by hitting x. render the first region, move the region crop render the second and then save the image. then in photoshop crop the black out and past rendered regions over image. done. Arkitec ps... now with VRAY... where is this move mouse over and it will render option...???? Arkitec just did a search and found it.. pretty neat trick. never knew it existed.. gonna have to test this one..
