kasyensz
Hello guys, Im working for a while now in a bedroom scene. I modelled everything and all the materials are on the models. I just cannot find the right render settings and light settings, I tried sooooo much. Looked everywhere for lighting tutorials and tried them aswell, i will give me everytime a kind of orange effect. I just cannot get a nice bright scene. My vray sun settings are default. my light settings are now: skylight portal. (I tried to play with the multiplier and the temperature it just wont give me what i want) Any help please, I would really want to finish this render Greetz Kasparovic
Corey Beaulieu
One piece of advice would be to check your white balance on your camera. I usually set it to neutral and then manage color with the light color and post production. As to the lights, whatever is in the back left of the image is extremely strong. I would put that to 25% of it take it from there as to more or less. taking a second look at the scene you posted, is that light a skylight portal? You ma not need it if it is. Your render settings look a little different that mine, but none of it looks like something that would cause your problem. In fact, render settings aren't going to affect color in that way. I hope others post more pointed help, but hopefully this gives you enough to check a few things out.
NeWAcEiN
dude u need to adjust color mapping, i think u r using default. try reinhard color mapping with the multiplier around .75 and burn value of .1or .2 and adjust vray physical cam settings as follows- turn of vignetting film speed ISO to 125 white balance to neutral and do some test renders cheers!!!!!!!! Boris Horosavin
Dude, I urge you to avoid using Vray sun for interior scenes. It's much complicated until you get to know it better (alongside with color mapping) and you need to use Vray Physical camera with it ALLWAYS. And in the end you wont get any better result. I suggest you use Vray plane light for soft difuse light (positioned outside your windows area) and Standard direct light for strong, directional lighting. It's a common combination which is still most effective and easiest to control. Use Vray sun for exterior, in combination with good color mapping (tuned Reinhard is best for me) and right Vray phys. camera settings, and ONLY in Vray version 1.5 and above.
