The basis of this model was created in Vectorworks, then imported into Cinema 4D for final modeling tweaks, texturing and lighting. I played around with several HDRI images for the exterior environment before deciding on a dusk city scene.

The scene looks great. There's something odd about the reflections on the stairs. Even though there's a lot of light from the city buildings I'll add a little more on the inside, perhaps on the second floor. Look amazing.

Thanks for the feedback Mariana! I agree, the reflections on the stairs do look a little weird. I might just have to rebuild the side of the stairs so the mesh comes out smoother. That's one thing that I encounter when importing a model from Vectorworks, the mesh always needs some work done to it in C4D.

It looks impressing. The only thing I have wondered is why legs of chairs are so thin. Great job though.

That's exactly what I thought when I received the chair spec. Surprisingly, the legs are actually that thin.

very nice composition, i think the main things that could push the image further would be to improve the lighting particularly above the mezzanine with a bit of soft diffuse lighting maybe..another thing that seemed to jump out at me was the image in the background seemed a bit pixelated, maybe if you could find a better/crisper image of a dusk city it could really help it along and appear more seamless with the interior, maybe one that is just a touch darker so there is a larger emphasis on your great interior composition! Hope the feedback helps!
