Hi everyone, I am a student in CG. I actually never post any of my work online; and since I'm about to finish as a student I thought i was important to show something..

So here it is, a view I am actually working on!

 

I really like England, and I picked Cardiff as my first work about this country. It is Penarth Pier.

The texturing of the metal work on both the lamp and the bench is great.

 

Have you tried the wood on the bench as a slightly varnished look?

Yes. Agree. And some dirt/scratching on the wood as well. I'd look nice as if it was re-varnished but yet starting to deteriorate again. Would give it some projection over time.

Agree with Salvador, since the metal is start to peeling as if it was old you could add some dirt/scratching on the wood.
