Modo

Hi,

i'm architect student and i'm familiar with 3ds max and sketchup,

is it worthing to put my time for learning modo for archviz?

At this stage Modo isn't an industry standard. Its still a relativity young package but I do see a good future in it.

 

Whilst it doesn't have the traditional arch viz modeling tools, it is a very capable modeler. The render is great but still needs to mature to get it up to the same standard of Vray or mentralray.
