Need a book/video on how to do arch viz from autocad files

Hi,

 

I recently posted a similar question in a different category but this time I'm able to be more specific in my request.

 

I need a book or video tutorial on how to create a building in 3ds max from autocad dwg files.

 

Someone recommended this:

But half the book talks about mental ray and I use vray - I don't want to spend that money on a book that's half useless to me.

 

I have some dwg files and I'm just in need of some pointers as to how to line things up, which views are which. Doesn't have to be too advanced or intricate.
