thomthom
I was exporting some XFrog trees into mrProxy. The original model was scale up to match real size after importing. But I find the proxies comes in with the size of the original geometry before it was scaled. When I select the original geometry and activate the Scale tool it does say 519 So, how would I "apply" or bake the transformation so it recognized the scaled geometry as the correct and default size? Tommy L
You can apply an Xform then collapse back to mesh. However, you have two better ways of scaling up the original geometry. 1: scale at sub-object level 2: bind to dummy and scale the dummy as a controller. In both these options the object otself still sees itself as 100%.
thomthom
I see. Thanks for those tips. But there is no way of baking a transformation into the geometry itself? Like in SketchUp when you right click a scaled instance and choose "Scale Definition"?
Tommy L
Yes, that's what reset xform does. You'll find it in the utilities.
