Krisztian Gulyas
Hi everybody. I need to create a candle and flame and i dont know what is the best way to create the flame. Just model it, add a gradient color and a light source OR using fumefx, photoshop? Is there any other method? What kind of material to use? This is the first time that i need fire in my scene. It doesnt have to look hyper realistic, but it has to look good. (Im using Vray) Thanks in advance.

Krisztian Gulyas
Thank you, first I tried with Fumefx, but it didnt look good in that scene so I made the candle in Max and added the flame in photoshop. I thought it will be easier and it will shorter the rendertime, but thank you again.
Wil Vaughn
When working with fire in FumeFX You have to render the fire or in this case the flame all by it's self. Color, Diff, & light pass. Then layer them in PS and adjusting them from there.
