Krisztian Gulyas
What do you think, which is better? Which is faster or which produces better results? I haven't used them so any help would be appreciated.
Scott Schroeder
Rayfire is used at Blur studios and they seem to have good things to say about it. Just judging them by their websites, I'd say Rayfire is the better one as it seems much more robust.
Krisztian Gulyas
About an hour ago I installed Rayfire, watched some tutorials and I think it's really great. Enough settings to play with, but not too much and the results are really nice. It creates pretty heavy objects and it's a bit slow but maybe my config is the problem (x4 3.2GHZ, 8GB RAM, GTX 460) I can't say nothing about Thinkinetic though. Thanks for your answer Scott. Scott Schroeder
Yeah, I'd expect any sort of good tool like this to run a little slow on a basic home computer set up. You really need a top of the line system to get the quick feedback you see on their demos.
