Tsiki
Hello, I'm rendering max 2010 scene with Vray-2.0 physical camera. I'm using HDRI (mapping type=spherical) in my scene but I keep getting the horizon line and black area below it. I find out this horizon line doesn't show by replacing Vray phisical camera with 3DSmax standard camera. Does anyone have an idea what setup on the Vray camera can give the same output like max standard? Following image rendered by using Vray physical camera: This image rendered by using MAX standard camera: Thank you,
onuraygenc
Hi there, When I encounter that kind of problem, I do the followings: 1- create a dome light ( intensity:1 ) and attach your hdr map to its texture parameter. 2- In the dome light parameter section, you'll see a " spherical full dome )... Check this I think your problem is occured because you tell your hdr map sphrefy rhe hemispherical sky, so ground level's color determined by environment map ( pressing by "8" ) I hope this could be helpful, Greetings. Tsiki
Thank you so much. The "spherical full dome" parameter solved my problem. As you suggest I also refine environmnt common parameters Best regards,
