acjwalker
We are having trouble opening a file created in 2013. We are using colorcorrection in a vray material and it will not render as it says ColorCorrection.dlm is missing. Now I previously asked this on the forum but it is now closed. http://forums.cgarchitect.com/63781-colorcorrect-dlm-what-missing.html But we did not have this trouble with 2013. Why is this happening. We are using the latest version of Vray. Andrew
Ismael
http://www.cuneytozdas.com/software/3dsmax/ "ColorCorrect is a 3DS Max texture plug-in which alters the colors of any (bitmap or procedural) texture so that you can fine tune the colors or create a variation of it." Try installing the 2013 version as I've read on the internet that some people have been able to have it work with Max 2014.
Tim Nelson
Can you clarify whether it is the 3rd party colorcorrect plugin or the Max native colorcorrection plugin? It can be confusing. I'd be awfully disappointed if the Max Colorcorrection is gone in 2014 since it's been a pain to move everything off of the original colorcorrect that so many people used to use. There was a memory problem when trying to use it in newer versions, as John Dollus mentioned in your original thread. But I think eventually there were newer versions that took care of that issue. At any rate, would rather use something built in to the software as opposed to having to install and update plugins every time you upgrade.
