adrianmonk
Hi guys, I am just starting up with V-Ray so please excuse me. I am trying to achieve bright warm lighting similar like on this image My scene is very large as it is a type of a hall. I've attached max test scene to the scale of original so you can see what I mean and if possible try it out. In mental ray I can easily light this scene so it is flooded with light like on the image above by usage of daylight, but the downside is that I use a lot of portal lights. Anyway I know in vray I will need them too but never the less I would like to try and make this work in it. Please have a look and let me know what I can do to get similar results. I just started a simple setup but it is not getting me anywhere... Vray Hall.zip

adrianmonk
Hi, Adrian. Welcome to the forums. That image is from an Evermotion.org tutorial. Good point, I will have a look into it. I have tried couple others I found online but somehow I cant get the result I am looking for, probably size of the scene is making all the difference as with small one I did manage to make it work. Anyway I will try this one too so I cover all the possibilities. But if you have some time and work in vraym you are welcome for a quick look at the file I attached, maybe you can quickly set up something (just basics to go on from)
