Test render with some lighting and caustics issues...

Hi everyone,

This is a test rendering of scene I'm working on in maya:

The modelling is nowhere near done and the final scene will have more detail, but for now I'm trying to resolve the lighting/caustics as well as texturing.

The main light that casts shadows is a spot light at the water plane aimed upward with a caustic pattern mapped on to it, and there is a faint blue directional light coming in from the windows.

The water material has a caustic pattern mapped onto the transparency channel, and a glow effect is added to simulate lighting under the pool....I feel the effect is maybe too exaggerated, and I'd love to hear some feedback on what I could do to resolve/enhance the scene...
