chanholong
Hi, i am trying to "paste" an image to my model but i get some problem on the coloring. i an have eye.tga and would like to paste on the face of my model, while as the eye.tga is a square image(not sure how to explain it), the outer parts is white in color instead of the diffuse color after i paste my image. So i tried to change the background color to the diffuse color from the mode to the image by copying the RGB values to photoshop, but the color are different even the values are the same. Can anyone tell me how can i set the color correctly? Or are their any ways to paste the image only with the parts i need? Thanks in advances. Matt McDonald
Probably the best way is to include an alpha channel in eye.tga so that the orange area is dropped out. Likely the reason the color appears different is due to your gamma settings. I'm not going to go all into linear workflow here but on your bitmap import dialog set the gamma to manual and then try 1.0 or 2.
Crazy Homeless Guy
Use a transparency as mentioned but hat happens when you input the RGB settings below into your Max color dialog? R: 113 G: 45 B:
