aubreydrizzy
Hi everyone, does anyone have any tips on where Luxigon and MIR find their 2D people? The people they composite seem very unique compared to the online libraries I've seen from epictor.com, viz-people.com, Doch3D, skalgubbar.se, mrcutout.com etc... Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks in advance!!
philippelamoureux
I wish people would stop asking for 2d people in their viz. It's so ugly haha. I know sometimes we have no choice because the client wants them but it kills any artistic intention imo. MIR probably have their own set of 2d people that they only keep for themselves? aubreydrizzy
Thanks Philippe. I completely agree but unfortunately clients always want people to show 'life' and 'scale' in renders. I'm finding it very tough to find 2D people for interior scenes and tired of seeing scenes filled with Viz-people or Dosche 3d... And I don't have the budget to setup my own green screen shoot. Corey Beaulieu
I never include People until explicitly asked by the client. This works maybe 35% of the time, but at least it works that much. You have 2 options when it doesn't. You can buy them from a place like VizPeople or you can hold a casting call. Craiglist, green screen (Painted sheet for low budget), and/or a Nice camera. There is no other way. Google image search is not a legal option and the free stuff has a tendency to be low resolution.
philippelamoureux
Even worse then 2d people...3d people. Was looking at a and the 3d ''dressed like a yo!'' model is disgusting lol. Also, a completely static human in a ''dynamic'' scene is weird!
Nic H
that paedo in the window static 3d model in the realtime video is terrifying!
