sorry, but i wouldn't call this "architecture"...

 

Yeah, you can't just make a comment like that and not elaborate on it or give your reasons.

 

This might get interesting, especially in light of Gehry's comment that "98 percent of what gets built and designed today is pure shit. ... There’s no sense of design nor respect for humanity or anything. They’re bad buildings and that’s it.”

I thought this would be obvious... but sure, i can say something.

The design is one thing,yes. But the more important point for me is the location! If this is the real place i would say this UFO looks totally misplaced, is totally ignoring the surroundings. I don't know where this is located, but it looks like in this country they have now legally binding land-use plans. Just insane...

I worked on a shopping centre proposal (not this one) in Damansara a few years ago. I seem to remember the area being more built up than this context shows. I guess with only three and half weeks you’ve got to choose where to concentrate your effort.

Being an urban planner...now I now what you meant with your comment, and I have to agree.
