Issue with Mullions made from a Renderable Spline

I'm having a problem creating mullions with renderable splines in max. When I separate the linework and apply a rectangular profile, the spline becomes rotated for some reason. See attached image of the affected splines. Is there any way to reset the rotation of the splines? Thanks
