kimlee
Hello to all the Visualization peeps out there using 3ds Max. My name is Kim Lee, I work in VFX and I am prepping a class for Autodesk University 2015 which will be focusing on issues that visualization artists (both design and arch) may struggle with from time to time that those of us from the VFX side of things may have dealt with more often. So this is a call out in the form of an informal survey so I can get an idea of what some of the more common issues you have faced. I figure rather than dream up scenarios that you guys/gals may face I should maybe harness social media and just ask you all. Follow this link to see the class description and enter you suggestions and thanks in advance. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Vof7on3FyoC71U8TK_dajk9lwx99RJyQ8976a__2FFY/viewform?usp=send_form
Francisco Penaloza
Great idea, I just submitted mines. If I can not make it to AU, there is any plans to post recorded sessions later in a blog or something? Best luck.
kimlee
Thanks for the input. There is always the possibility the material for this class will make its way into the wild after Autodesk University 2015, wink wink
thomasallen
I remember when you did a graphics card comparison. Particularly between GeForce and Quadro. That was very helpful to see, as there aren't a lot of relevant comparison tests out there. Wrangling massive amounts of polys is always an issue with these projects - with dense urban projects sometimes at 100 million.
