Piash
Hi all... I do 2 pc distributed rendering. For the texture path i keep all the necessary files to the 2nd pc 3ds max/sceneassets/images folder and it works fine for me. I need to know where should i keep the pre calculated light cache and irrediance map. Specially when I do animation rendering.

Do you have one workstation and one dr node, or do you have one workstation and two dr nodes? If both or all your computers can access your scene assets, that's the place you should place the irradiance map too. If you are using vray 3, you could check into a new function that in many situations leaves it unnecessary to save out precalculations. Maybe someone else can fill me in on that one, but "use camera path" COULD do the trick as well. Same goes for light cache. Read the Avoid Flickering section: http://docs.chaosgroup.com/plugins/servlet/mobile#content/view/7897189. Just as an alternative to doing precalcs.
