reyanansari
Hello everyone, I might be facing a confusion over here regarding making VR Walkthrough in 3ds Max. As far as I know, the interactive VR Walkthrough can be made in Unreal Engine only after making all the models in 3ds Max. But, off lately someone told me that we can make the interactive VR Walkthrough in 3ds Max itself and we don't need Unreal Engine, Unity, etc for that. Note: I am trying to make an interactive visualization in which I can walk inside Occulus. Thanks
Adam Kruvand
Maybe? You can render out a stereo panoramic cube maps in animation and put it in the Occulus. However this isn't the same thing as being able to move freely around the space in VR. Did you make any progress on this?
philippelamoureux
Out of the box with max (vray or corona) you could make static pov VR. You will perceive depth but won't be able to walk in your scene or tilt your head to look behind an object for example. Your head will basically just be a static camera looking at a 3d 360 degrees panoramic environment.
tianxiaowang1
Hi Reyan, If you want to generate interactive walkthrough project compatible with Oculus, you should try Twinmotion. It can export an executable file called BIMmotion allows you to walk inside your project, and you can view it with Oculus. Take a look at here : https://twinmotion.abvent.com/twinmotion-2016/

neil poppleton
If you want a simple solution, render your animation path as equirectangular maps straight from max, produce your animation file and upload to youtube.
