2 Point Perspective in 3Ds

Is it possible to force a perspective rendering into 2 Point perspective so that all vertical edges are straight up and down?

I have looked through all the menus and settings that I can find and do not see anything other than 'field of view'

Thanks,

Here is a better way:

Make your camera so that it is not pointing up (level with the horizon). Move the camera back until you see the entire image. Your building will occupy the top portion of the image, with a lot of ground. Then do a render region of on the portion of the building that you want. Essentially cropping the bottom of the image. This will prevent the effect of your building looking distorted where the top of the building ends up looking bigger then the bottom of the building.

Here are some examples of where perspective "correction" can make buildings look wrong:

This can be especially true with wider angle lenses.

Try this out, it is a script available for Max 3 & 4. Never tried for Max 5.

This script called Technical camera.

"When you are making architectural visuals with max, you may get a problem with the perspective view of the camera you use. On many occasions you will see that the perfectly strait buildings are leaning backward or forward. Though it's 'physically' correct, many architects discuss the effect. In photography this can be corrected with a 'Technical Camera'. This is exactly what this script does.

Thanks for the script Bhanu!

It looks like there are many ways to get the job done. I still haven't had time to try them - I have cheated so far and put trees on either side of the structure where the problem was most noticable. However I will have to figure out how to solve the problem on the next rendering.

Thanks again everyone,
