How to make Classic Wall Element

Hello guys,

 

Hope you all are doing fine, well ive got stuck in this part of my modelling where i need to create decorative elements on the wall.

 

Ive also attached few reference images for better understanding.

 

So i have a closed boundary i.e - a Rectangle.

 

Now i want the decorative elements over the rectangle and should look realistic

 

I would be much happy if someone could help me out.

Do you have an example of what you have so far? A sweep modifier should be able to get you the vast majority of the way.
