stayinwonderland
I used to get around the new gamma output thing using: fileOutGamma=1.0 but it doesn't work any more for some reason. I paste it into the MaxScript window and my output images are still dark. I've been away from using max for a while so I might be missing something obvious. Max 2015 and Vray 3.

stayinwonderland
yeah thanks, I had stumbled across that. Been in a hurry so didn't want to get into anything too deep, but what I did take away from that was to save as EXR. Did that and then went from 32 bit to 8 bit in photoshop. Josef Wienerroither
As i understand, the fileout gamma will only be applied on a 8bit/channel image output Which format/bitdepth did you save to when the fileoutgamma=1 wasn't applied ?
