jaydenstorace
Hi, I'm currently working on my portfolio and developing a workflow. At the moment I work in Revit>3DS Max, however I'll soon be moving over to Sketchup/Rhino. Is the best way to go for modelling off plans to do it in Sketchup/Rhino, or just model the whole thing in 3DS? I'd love to hear feedback & the various other workflows people use! CliveG
Really there is no "best workflow". What works best for me (or anybody else) isn't necessarily going to work for you. Have confidence in your own judgement on this.
Lewis Garrison
My workflow starting with CAD plans is Modeling right in max rendering in Vray post production in Photoshop. I don't like jumping between several modeling programs if I don't have to. But that's just whats easiest for me.

jameswhitaker
I used to model in Rhino when I was working as an architect but nowadays I do all the modelling in Max. The great thing about Max is there's so many ways to add variation to the model with random rotation etc.
