Hello, I am working on the big site scene that will be a part an animation in the end. It is basically a forest. I need to create a nice juicy green background. Do I go for 2D trees or I do 3d trees with Forest Pack? I tried 2D trees, looks not really nice, maybe i did something not right.

The part of animation will be a walk through the trees, so it needs to look nice but don't kill my machine. I really don't know what approach to go with.

You should use forest pro or Multiscatter, whatever works better for you, 2D trees are OK if they are in the background, but if the camera will travel closer to them there is nothing better than 3D geometry.

Forest pro is very memory optimized, I am always surprised how much geometry it can manage.

Millions of polygons is a common task for this plugin.
