Anyway, I'm looking at something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-BX80684I79700K-I7-9700K-3-60GHZ-SKT1151-Noir/dp/B07HHN6KBZ/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=i7&qid=1562773775&s=gateway&sr=8-1 (i7 9700K 8 core 3.6) But wondering what the experts think. I have the first gen of Ryzen 1700X and it works wonders. is faster than my office machine that is more than double the price, Xeon 1650 V3. Now this Intel is a 6 core the one at home is Ryzen 8 cores, so yes I do have more cores, but it was cheaper!. The latest Ryzen CPU seems to be even faster than the previews Threadriper.
