Vray vs. vray next vs enscape

Hi, I am a student,learning rendering and visualization,

Want to start vray,would you recommend vray or vray next?or enscape?

I am using rhino.

depends. If your goal is to be an internal resource for a design firm, then Enscape. If your goal is to be a rendering resource for various international clients, then Vray Next.

I have a question,what makes the difference between the two that makes one better for the job or other?

what makes vray better for end product presentation or vice versa?

Enscape is more of a viewport extension. the speed and cost reflect the limitations.

Vray is far more robust and gets you more into a platform-agnostic pipeline with it's own file formats, materials etc.

 

Enscape = cheap and fast to learn but you max out the capabilities quickly.

Vray = more expensive, takes longer to master and you likely will never use all of the capabilities.

 

From a management perspective, it's easier to swallow Enscape and upgrade to Vray later when the price and time can be justified.

There's a reason you see tons of questions about, 'how do I...for Vray' and questions about Enscape are rare.
