Node goes into sleep mode during rendering

Hi,

Maybe someone could give me a hint.

What setting is resposible for preventing my node (laptop) from going into sleep mode during rendering?

I use vray - laptop has vrayspawner launched, connected via lan cable to deskop computer. Laptop (node) has sleep mode function turned on (let's say to 1hour. )

In my case, after 1hour, without touching mouse, or keyboard, laptop will go into sleep mode no matter if the rendering is still on and vrayspawner uses almost 100% of the proccessor power.

I would like to leave sleep mode on and don't set it to 'never', as I ofter forget to turn my laptop off for the nighttime :)

thanks

This guy has a script which you send to deadline as a job, so when that job is activated it should shut down the pc for you.

looks like the link to the script is down you could either contact the guy directly or try another such as

ah you are correct I see.

In my case I also use my laptop and have 2 power modes (on auto mode). 1. never sleep when power is connected 2. sleep after 10 mins on battery.

I also use windows scheduler to power it off if its been idle for an hour or set it to a timer if i know the render times. Not a fix but my workaround
