mzagorski Posted January 11, 2005 Share Posted January 11, 2005 I'm trying to loft a shape along a path. Both the path and shape are editable splines. I select the shape, go to Compound Obj, select Loft... choose pick Path... but Max won't let me select the path! Have I missed a step? BTW - I can get a loft to work by using splines created in max, but im importing a fairly complicated spline created in Autocad 2005. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ismael Posted January 11, 2005 Share Posted January 11, 2005 Your path or your Shape are not continuous. Select Shape goto Modify panel and select SubObject spline. Enable show vertex numbers. The numbers should be 1 to whatever with no repeats. Same for the Loft Shape. I think that is it, Ismael Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
