  1. Person: So what do you do? You: Well... I'm a 3D Artist. Basically, I draw buildings on the computer then edit them to look like an actual photograph. Person: oh sweet... I'm building my house at the moment, can you do mine? You: Sure!, here is my contact info. Person: So what type of camera do you use? You: ..... You: ........ Story of my life.

  3. I was working for ArchiCAD recenlty , so ill try make this as un-bias as possible. I have used Revit in the past for small residential/commercial etc. has its pros and cons like any program. I find it to be a little 'clunky' when you work with larger files. - i still use it on occasion. as for ArchiCAD, its the best BIM software I have ever used to date.
  4. ArchiCAD + C4D has seamless compatibility. - http://www.archicadwiki.com/Cinema4D not well informed about Revit/vasari + 3ds.
  5. Quadro v GTX780 benchmark test: Unless you are planning to step-up to really heavy renders in the near future, I would stick to a GTX 560 - as Zdravko Said.
