  1. did u try to give more strength to the lights to make your scene brighter? or give the dining table and chairs a lighter texture, maybe that will improve the overall brightness of the scene.
  2. the light inside is stronger than outside. and the shadows outside are not as strong as inside. that's my 2 cents . i would give more advice on how to fix it,but i don't use c4d.

  5. Here is a new render with an AO pass applied. total render time with AO is 37 min.
  6. Ive noticed i have to an Ambient Occlusion Pass to my renders, ill update the new renders when finished.
  7. hi all Ive been working on this Bedroom model this past week, and even though its not finished id really like some C&C on some aspects of lighting ,shadows and modeling. i am not happy with the shadows around corners of the bed in particular. in some renders i forgot to activate Displacement & Glossy Effects under Global Switches. click the link below to view the renders. http://rmp82.nl/cg_post/index.html 3ds Max 2009 design, V-Ray SP4a duo core 2.6 = 2gb ram some models are imported and others are mine, bedroom model created by me.

  10. the rug seems kinda flat and also you could add some lighting next to the doors on both floors, thats what i think, overall its a nice scene
  11. i think where your getting at. but this house is actually a real one that exist. its at least 75 years old so dont expect an nice architectural design, so everything you see is real except i did this out of memory and some reference photo's. this is my personal project.
  12. new render test added photometric lights, less sec. bounces tryed to add more specular highlights but i dont seem to notice the difference. @ RK what do you mean by "I havend found any vertical or horizontal lines".
  13. new render with added furniture changed some objects and materials. i have another problem with this scene, for some reason the scene is rendered in 12 passes wih each pass it calculates 4 prepasses. i havent changed anything, i tried to remove the objects and materials that i added afterwards but with no luck. it still renders 4 x 12 passes in total 48 passes, is this normal?? here is the rendering window.
